The Intern – Technology Innovation, Digital Health, AI and MedTech position at PATH is a full-time, 3-month in-person internship based in New Delhi, India. This opportunity is offered under the South Asia Program and focuses on advancing technology-enabled healthcare solutions across the region. The intern will support initiatives related to medical technology innovations, artificial intelligence, and digital health systems. Responsibilities include conducting research on emerging health technologies, assisting in demonstration projects, supporting field-level learning, contributing to policy recommendations, and coordinating with government and state-level stakeholders. The role provides hands-on exposure to digital health implementation and innovation within a global nonprofit dedicated to health equity.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students in Engineering (Biomedical preferred), Life Sciences (Microbiology, Biotechnology), Public Health, or related fields. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in digital health, MedTech, artificial intelligence, or health systems. Prior internship or experience in public health, healthcare, research, or technology is desirable but not mandatory. Applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, available in New Delhi.

Responsibilities
Interns will: Conduct desk research on emerging health technologies and global innovations. Support implementation of digital, AI, and MedTech solutions. Assist in national and regional demonstration projects. Participate in field visits, interviews, and data collection. Support progress tracking and stakeholder communication. Prepare briefs, presentations, and policy recommendations. Provide programmatic and administrative support.
