Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Open to engineering students and recent graduates pursuing B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Electronics, Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Strong understanding of wireless communication principles, signal processing, and digital communication systems. Knowledge of 3GPP/3GPP2 standards is an advantage. Proficiency in C, C++, and MATLAB is preferred. Familiarity with UNIX, Windows, or Linux environments. Candidates with strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills will be prioritized. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Bangalore & Hyderabad.

Responsibilities
Interns will: Participate in Qualcomm’s Systems Engineering activities focused on the evolution of 3G, 4G, 5G, WLAN, and satellite communication systems. Develop and optimize modem baseband algorithms and conduct performance analysis, design validation, and testing. Contribute to research and development in wireless communication technologies such as OFDMA, CDMA, LTE, and 5G NR. Perform data-driven analysis, theoretical modeling, and algorithm implementation. Collaborate in cross-functional teams for system design reviews and prototyping. Support IP portfolio development and contribute to standards and specification improvements. Assist in design verification, debugging, and algorithm performance evaluation.
