The Next-Gen AI Systems & Infrastructure Research Internship offers PhD and research-focused students a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of large-scale AI systems. As a Research Intern, selected candidates will collaborate with senior architects to explore scalable, high-performance AI system architectures. The role focuses on system-level innovation, advanced networking, hardware–software co-design, and next-generation data movement solutions. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD or MS by Research program. Field of study should be Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines. Strong fundamentals in computer architecture, systems, or distributed computing. Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or similar programming languages. Ability to conduct experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings effectively. Must meet eligibility requirements related to U.S. export control regulations. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, available in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities
Interns will: Perform AI system-level modeling and simulation for scale-out platforms. Research autonomous, agentic, and self-configuring system architectures. Explore high-performance networking and transport innovations for AI compute fabrics. Work on memory disaggregation and system-level fabric architectures. Assist in protocol acceleration unit design and architectural modeling. Collaborate with senior architects to prototype ideas and evaluate system performance.
