Indian Institute of Technology Mandi Summer Internship 2026
The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi Summer Internship 2026 is a prestigious residential research programme designed to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with hands-on exposure to advanced research and innovation. The internship aims to introduce students to academic research careers by offering direct mentorship under IIT Mandi faculty members across various schools and research centres. The programme runs for one to two months during May–July 2026 and combines practical training with hardware and software-based research tools. Only students from MoU-signed institutes/colleges/universities with IIT Mandi are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be in the pre-final year (3rd year) of B.Tech./B.E. programme. Applicants pursuing postgraduate studies must be in the first year (pre-final year) of their programme. Applicants must belong to institutes/colleges/universities that have signed an MoU with IIT Mandi. Applicants must specify the proposed area of research and potential faculty supervisor. Selected candidates must provide a Letter of Recommendation or No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent institute. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, available in Mandi.
