The Google Software Application Development Apprenticeship is a 12-month, full-time hybrid program designed for graduates who want to build a career in software development. Starting in March 2026, apprentices will work on real projects at Google offices across Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, while also receiving tailored external training. The program helps participants gain hands-on experience in coding, testing, development, and project management, while also learning problem-solving, teamwork, and industry-standard practices. This apprenticeship is not a permanent employment opportunity but provides a strong foundation for entry-level roles in software engineering.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must not have been enrolled in any prior Government Apprenticeship program. Must have an Aadhaar number linked to an active mobile number and a valid personal email ID. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, or possess equivalent practical experience. Should have less than 1 year of programming experience in Java, C++, or Python. Must be willing to work in a hybrid model at one of Google’s Indian offices (relocation support not provided). Strong interest and passion for software development, problem-solving, and new technologies. English proficiency is required for effective communication. Note: This apprenticeship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
