The Bookkeeper Intern will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Candidates must have completed or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Applicants should have proven experience or basic knowledge of bookkeeping practices. They must possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable. Candidates should have strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. They must be proficient in English and have good working knowledge of MS Office and spreadsheet tools. Candidates should be comfortable using accounting software and handling confidential financial data. Good customer service orientation and basic negotiation skills are required. Responsibilities
Interns will: The intern will record daily financial transactions and ensure accurate posting in the accounting system. They will verify entries in day books, supplier ledgers, customer ledgers, and the general ledger. They will assist in bringing accounts to the trial balance stage. They will perform partial checks of the posting process to ensure data accuracy. They will complete and assist in preparing tax forms as required. They will enter financial data, maintain records, and generate financial reports and statements. They will process accounts payable and receivable and support payroll processing in a timely manner. They will assist in bank account management and reconciliation activities.
