ShareChat, India’s largest homegrown social media platform with over 200 million monthly active users, is offering an exciting Intern – Tamil (Content Moderation | Trust & Safety) opportunity. As part of the Trust & Safety team, interns will play a crucial role in maintaining platform integrity by ensuring content quality, safety, and compliance with community guidelines across ShareChat and Moj. The role involves working closely with external vendors responsible for content moderation, monitoring quality standards, and suggesting improvements to moderation processes and policies. Interns will also engage in data handling, quality audits, and operational reporting using Excel or Google Sheets. This internship offers hands-on exposure to large-scale content operations in India’s fast-growing digital ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants may be freshers or candidates with 6 months to 1 year of experience. Prior content moderation experience is preferred but not mandatory. Must have strong written and spoken proficiency in Tamil and Hindi. Business-level proficiency in English is required. Basic to advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Word / Google Docs. Candidates must be flexible to work in rotational shifts and rotational week-offs. Should possess basic analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, available in Bangalore.

Responsibilities
Interns will: Conduct regular performance and quality checks across moderation domains. Ensure content safety, quality, and positive user experience on the platform. Implement and monitor quality assurance processes (offshore/in-house). Manage end-to-end operational workflows for the assigned vertical. Coordinate with external vendors for training, calibrations, and policy updates. Assist in process and policy improvements using data-driven insights.
