In a continuous endeavor to foster skill development and strengthen India's position as a digital talent hub, Cisco and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have unveiled the latest phase of their internship program. This collaborative initiative aims to provide virtual internships in Networking and Cyber Security through the Cisco Networking Academy and its associated partners. By bridging the gap between industry and academia, this program strives to cultivate a skilled talent pool for the technology sector, aligning with the nation's digital skilling agenda.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible participants include students enrolled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year engineering/technical degree and diploma programs from institutions affiliated with the Cisco Networking Academy. Institutions interested in joining the Cisco NetAcad can apply for membership.
Interested students must complete the registration process on the AICTE internship portal and proceed to undertake designated courses. They can initiate this process by contacting their NetAcad instructor at their institution and accessing courses on netacad.com
Students are required to furnish proof of course completion and provide a link to digital badges, marking a significant milestone in the virtual internship program.
Selected students will have the opportunity to attend a Cisco industry session. Guided by their NetAcad instructor, they will tackle assigned problem statements.
Upon finishing their project work, students must undergo a final quiz as part of the submission process.
Eligible students who meet all criteria will receive a virtual internship certificate.
