Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The candidate must be enrolled in a full-time B.Tech program in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or other related engineering fields. Should have academic or practical exposure in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning, AI, or Statistics. Must possess strong programming skills with proficiency in Python. Should have foundational knowledge of LLMs, entity/relation extraction, and zero/few-shot learning techniques. Must demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Bengalore.

Responsibilities
Interns will: Develop and implement algorithms for processing aerospace domain data to support search and recommendation systems. Design and execute experiments, ensuring proper evaluation and documentation of outcomes such as publications or invention disclosures. Collaborate with GE Aerospace Research scientists to integrate NLP/LLM-based solutions into regulated, safety-critical engineering workflows. Build data pipelines and solutions using Python for large-scale engineering and research applications. Communicate findings effectively to internal stakeholders and engineering teams. Address challenges related to data quality, domain-specific vocabulary, and system integration.
