Anant Merit Scholarship 2025
The Anant Merit Scholarship is a prestigious initiative designed to nurture academic excellence among students at the secondary and higher secondary levels. Its goal is to support talented students who show exceptional promise in their studies by providing financial assistance to reduce the burden of educational expenses. Selected students will receive an annual grant of 6,000, which can be used towards tuition fees, study materials, or other educational needs.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship Application Form Attested copy of BPL Card / Antyodaya Card Income Certificate in original issued by the Councillor / Panchayat Pradhan Attested copy of Mark Sheet from Madhyamik / CBSE / ICSE / Higher Secondary / CBSE+ / ISC / Others Attested copy of Ration Card / Proof of Residence / Voter Identity Card (For minors, documents of the guardian must be submitted) Proof of Date of Birth: Attested Copy of Class X Admit Card / Mark Sheet, Birth Certificate, PAN Card Disability Certificate (if applicable) Attested copy of Aadhaar Card of the applicant Passport size photograph
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This scholarship is applicable to the state of West Bengal. This scholarship is exclusively applicable to both the genders. This scholarship is exclusively applicable to all categories. The student should have passed the 10th or 12th class from a recognized board, including WBBSE, WBCHSE, CBSE, or ICSE. Applicants have a minimum of 70% marks in the 10th or 12th board exams. The monthly family income should not exceed 5,000. This scholarship is applicable to Bachelors in various fields.

Selection Process
National Entrance Test: Students must undergo a national entrance test conducted at various exam centers across the country. The exam centers and related details will be provided via the admit card. Entrance Test Results: Students who score well in the entrance examination will be shortlisted for the next round. Personal Interview Round: Shortlisted students will be invited for a personal interview. Details regarding the interview, including the schedule and requirements, will be communicated via email.
