Vijayalakshmi R L Jalappa Foundation Scholarship 2024
The Vijayalakshmi R.L. Jalappa Scholarship is a financial assistance program established by the Vijayalakshmi R.L. Jalappa Education Foundation. This scholarship aims to support meritorious and economically disadvantaged students to pursue higher education without financial constraints. It is specifically targeted at students pursuing PUC (Pre-University Courses), Diploma, ITI, Graduation, and Post-Graduation programs. The scholarship encourages students to continue their education and contributes to shaping their future by overcoming financial barriers.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship Application Form Recent Passport-Sized Photograph SSLC/10th marks card, PUC/12th marks card, Marks cards of the last 3 years or last semester for UG/PG students. Identity Proof Institution Identity Card BPL Card Transfer Certificate (TC) Fee Receipt Bank Passbook Copy Previous Course Marks Statement
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Scholarship will be awarded to students studying PUC, Diploma, ITI, Any Degree, B.E., BVSC, B.PHARMA, BHMS, BDS, MBBS, Any Master Degree, MVSC, and M.PHARMA AND MBBS. Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous year's examination. Applicants must belong to families holding a BPL (Below Poverty Line) card, or must be low-income farmers or agricultural labourers. The scholarship is specifically for students from the “Arya Idiga community” and residents of certain districts in Karnataka, including Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Ramanagara, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Chitradurga, Davanagere, and Bellary. The applicant must have a bank account in their name to receive the scholarship funds. The scholarship is only applicable to students enrolled in regular courses at an affiliated institution. Correspondence or distance education students are not eligible.
