He initial duration for the scholarship will be 2 years (classes 11 and 12). However, if the candidate continues to pursue their studies with the meritorious result, there is a fair chance for the extension of the scholarship in order to help the student further in pursuing his/her degree course.

The parental income of the candidate willing to apply for the Scholarship must be under 6 lakhs/annum. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 90% or equivalent in class 10/ SSC examination. However, the disabled candidates have a privilege with a 75% cut off marks.
