The Vishram Jadva Varsani Trust was founded by Vishram Jadva Varsani, who hails from Bharasar village in the Kutch district of Gujarat. Currently residing in the Seychelles islands in the Indian Ocean, Vishrambhai established the trust in memory of his father, who, despite being illiterate, aspired to educate his children. Vishrambhai's own educational journey was made possible through a scholarship from the Government of India and subsidised lodging and boarding provided by the Swaminarayan Chhatralaya of Maninager, Ahmedabad.
With the support of his colleagues from Swaminarayan Chhatralaya, including Dhanjibhai Patel, D.D. Vekaria, and J.B. Solanki, the trust was established in 1998 with the aim of assisting eligible and deserving students in pursuing higher education, irrespective of caste, colour, or religion.
