Shiksha Sahayog Scholarship 2025
The Shiksha Sahayog Scholarship is an initiative by the Government of Chhattisgarh, managed under its Social Welfare Department, to provide financial assistance to deserving students from economically weaker sections. In the latest financial year, over INR 165 crore was disbursed to more than 2,75,000 students, marking a significant increase in the amount awarded compared to previous years. The scholarship offers grants for students across various education levels, from pre-matric to post-matric, every six months.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Domicile Certificate Aadhar Card Caste Certificate (if applicable) Income Certificate Previous Academic Certificates and Mark Sheets Passport-Sized Photograph Bank Account Details
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be residents of Chhattisgarh. The family income should not exceed INR 1 lakh for OBC students and INR 2.5 lakh for SC/ST students. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their previous examination. The scholarship is applicable to all courses in various fields. 30% of the seats are reserved for female candidates. A minimum of 50% marks in the previous exam is required to be eligible.
