Rabiya Masood Foundation Scholarship
The Rabiya Masood Foundation is a non-profit, non-partisan charitable organisation dedicated to the socio-economic upliftment of marginalised and underprivileged communities in impoverished areas of Bihar, India. Established as a Trust in 2022 under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, the foundation is committed to fostering positive change and empowerment among those in need. The primary objective of the Rabiya Masood Foundation is to award scholarships to meritorious students from economically weaker sections of underprivileged communities. These scholarships aim to provide deserving students with better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education, and enhance their employability prospects. By supporting education, the foundation seeks to break the cycle of poverty and enable individuals to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be residents of Bihar, India, belonging to underprivileged communities.
This scholarship is open to all courses in various fields.
Students must have secured not less than 60% marks or an equivalent grade in their previous final examination.
The annual income of the student's parents or guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh.
Scholarships will not be awarded to more than one male student from the same family. However, female, orphan, and disabled students are exempted from this limitation.
50% of the scholarships are earmarked for female students, and the remaining 50% are reserved for male students.
Scholarships may be transferred to other categories in case eligible applications are not available within a specific category.
If the allocated number of scholarships is not fully utilized, the remaining scholarships may be carried forward to the next academic year.

Distribution
Fresh Scholarships: The foundation targets to distribute a total of twenty (20) fresh scholarships.
Renewal Scholarships: In addition to fresh scholarships, renewal scholarships may also be provided.
Terms & Conditions
The scholarship will be awarded to students studying in courses included as per paragraph 11 (Table – 1).
An Income Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the State/UT Governments is required for the parent/guardian of the student.
A Community (Caste) Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the State/UT Governments is required for the student.
A Residential Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the State/UT Governments is required for the student.
A Source of Income Proof (e-Shram Card) issued by a Competent Authority in the State/UT Governments is required for the parent/guardian.
Students must maintain regular attendance.
Scholarship may be suspended or cancelled if a student violates school/college/university discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarship.
The Trust reserves the right to directly cancel the award if it is duly satisfied with the reasons for the violation of the regulations governing the scheme.
If a student is found to have obtained the scholarship through false statements, the scholarship will be cancelled immediately, and the amount paid may be recovered by the Trust.
The scholarship will be credited to the student's account through NEFT/IMPS. If the student is a minor (below 18 years), the scholarship may be credited to the parents' account.
The regulations are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Trust.
