PM Yasasvi Pre And Post Matric Scholarship For Sikkim 2024
The "PM-YASASVI: Pre & Post Matric Scholarship" is a sub-scheme under the "PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India for OBCs and Others (PM-YASASVI)." Launched by the Government of India, this Centrally Sponsored Scheme aims to provide educational assistance to students belonging to all casts & Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Economically Backward Classes (EBCs), and Denotified, Nomadic Tribes (DNT). The primary objective is to support and motivate children from these categories by offering financial assistance during their pre-matriculation or secondary education.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Aadhaar Card Passport size photograph Educational qualification mark sheets/certificates Income certificate Domicile Certificate Caste/Community Certificate issued by the competent authority Disability certificate (if applicable) Bank account details Any other required documents
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens & permanent residents of Sikkim. This scholarship is exclusively open to both the genders. This scholarship is exclusively open to all categories. The scholarship will be awarded to students whose parents' or guardians' income from all sources does not exceed ₹2,50,000 per annum. Applicants must be studying in primary to post graduation full-time in Government Schools only. A student under this scheme cannot hold any other educational scholarship for studying in any course. If awarded another scholarship, students may choose between the two and must inform the awarding authority and the Head of the Institution of their choice. The Income Certificate needs to be provided only once, i.e., at the time of admission to the courses.
