Goa State All Scholarship
The State of Goa offers several scholarships to support the educational aspirations of its students. The Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students aims to uplift Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes students by providing financial assistance to families facing economic challenges. To be eligible, applicants must be residents of Goa, regular students, with a combined parental income. Additionally, the Goa government provides the Kanya Dhan Scheme for SC students, promoting education scholarship get the students.

Eligibility Criteria
Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC, ST & OBC Students: The applicant should be a bonafide resident of the state of Goa. The applicant must be a regular student enrolled in an educational institution. The combined income of the parents or guardians of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/- per annum. The applicant should not be receiving stipends or scholarships from any other sources. The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribes community. Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana for ST Students: Eligible for Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship. ST students in Goa with an income below Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum. Merit-Based Scholarship Scheme for SC, ST & EWS Students: Felicitation for Rank Holders. Merit-Based Award for students with an annual family income below Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum. Home Nursing Scheme for SC, ST & OBC Students: Pursuing recognized Home Nursing courses. Born in Goa and domiciled for at least 15 years. Annual parent/guardian income not exceeding Rs. 6 lakhs. Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana for SC & OBC Students: Must have availed or be eligible for Centrally Sponsored Post Matric Scholarship. Dhangar students must have availed or be eligible for centrally sponsored Post Matric Scholarship during the current academic year. Grant of Scholarship for Differently Abled Persons: A differently abled person who is a resident of Goa by birth or has continuous domicile of 15 years in Goa may apply for the scholarship. Scholarship is available for all categories of differently abled persons. Eligibility for the scholarship starts from the Ninth Standard onwards. The candidate should have secured at least 45% marks in the previous annual examination. No scholarship will be admissible if the combined income of the parents/guardians of the candidate is more than Rs.1,20,000/- per annum. Grant of stipends to the physically handicapped students: The applicant must be a bona fide resident of the State of Goa. The applicant must be a regular student of a recognized school. The combined income of the parents/guardian should not exceed Rs. 25,000/- per annum. The applicant should not be residing and receiving any maintenance in any institution under the Government, local bodies, or private organizations receiving grant-in-aid from local or the Central Government. The applicant should not be in receipt of any other stipend or scholarship from any other source. If a family has more than one handicapped child, all such children will be eligible for the stipend, subject to fulfilling other conditions. The applicant must be physically handicapped as provided under Rule 4 read with Rule 5 of these rules. The applicant shall not be eligible for the stipend if he/she is a repeater in a particular standard. However, failure can be condoned at the discretion of the Director. Kanya Dhan Scheme for SC Students: The girl child who has passed the 10th Standard examination and is enrolled in the 11th Standard of any stream (Science/Arts/Commerce/Vocational/ITI) is eligible under the scheme. A maximum of 2 girls from each family are entitled to benefits under the scheme.

For Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC, ST & OBC Students: 1. Class 5th and 8th: Rs. 3575/- per annum for both day scholars and hostellers. Plus Rs. 900/- for students having marks greater than 50%.(Class 5th & 6th) Plus Rs. 1000/- for students having marks greater than 50%.(Class 7th & 8th) 2. Class 9th & 10th: Rs. 1125/- per annum for day scholars. Plus Rs. 1100/- for students having marks greater than 50%.(Class 9th) Plus Rs. 1600/- for students having marks greater than 50%.(Class 10th) Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana for SC, ST & OBC Students: 1. Additional Maintenance Allowance: Rs. 750/- per month for day scholars. Rs. 1,500/- per month for those staying in hostels during the academic year (for ten months). 2. Additional Disability Allowance: Rs. 750/- per month during the academic year (for a period of ten months). Merit-Based Scholarship Scheme for SC, ST & EWS Students: ₹20,000 for the first five rank holders of SSC & HSSC Boards Exam. ₹5,000/- for students scoring between 50% to 59.99% in SSC & HSSC Board exams. ₹8,000/- for students scoring between 60% to 69.99% in SSC & HSSC Board exams. ₹10,000/- for students scoring between 70% to 74.99% in SSC & HSSC Board exams. ₹15,000/- for students scoring 75% and above in SSC & HSSC Board exams. For Home Nursing Scheme for SC, ST & OBC Students: 1. Course Fees: For Certificate Courses with a duration of at least six months: Rs. 3500/- or the actual amount, whichever is less. For Diploma Courses with a duration of one year or more: Rs. 5000/- or the actual amount, whichever is less. For Degree in Nursing with a duration of three years: Rs. 10,000/- or the actual amount, whichever is less. For Health Worker Course with a duration of one year or more: Rs. 3500/- or the actual amount, whichever is less. 2. Maintenance Allowance: For Day Scholars: Rs. 500/- per month. For Hostellers: Rs. 800/- per month. 3. Additional Assistance for Books, Uniform, Stationery, etc.: For Certificate Courses with a duration of at least six months: Rs. 1000/- For Diploma Courses with a duration of one year or more: Rs. 2000/- For Degree in Nursing with a duration of three years: Rs. 3000/- For Health Worker Course with a duration of one year or more: Rs. 2000/- Grant of Scholarship for Differently Abled Persons: 1. Financial Assistance: Std IX to XII: Rs. 500/- per month B.A./B.Com./B.Sc.: Rs. 650/- per month M.A./M.Com/M.Sc. and other Professional courses: Rs. 900/- per month 2. Reader's Allowance for Visually Disabled Candidates: Std IX to XII: Rs. 75/- per month B.A./B.Com./B.Sc.: Rs. 115/- per month M.A./M.Com/M.Sc. and other Professional courses: Rs. 150/- per month 3. Additional Hostel Allowance: Std IX to XII: Rs. 200/- per month B.A./B.Com./B.Sc.: Rs. 270/- per month M.A./M.Com/M.Sc. and other Professional courses: Rs. 360/- per month Grant of stipends to the physically handicapped students: From I to IVth Class: Rs. 200/- per month. From V to VIIIth Class: Rs. 200/- per month. From IX to XII Class: Rs. 300/- per month. The stipends at the above rates will be given for the full academic year (11 months) in two installments, with the first installment being paid in September and the second in January. Kanya Dhan Scheme for SC Students: An amount of Rs. 25,000/- will be provided in the form of a fixed deposit in the name of the girl child, with an officer nominated by the Government.
