Butta Foundation Merit Scholarship 2024
The Butta Foundation offers a Merit Scholarship program aimed at supporting poor and meritorious students, particularly young girls pursuing higher studies at Government Colleges. The foundation conducts a Merit exam to shortlist eligible candidates, followed by a poverty assessment survey to select deserving students. The foundation then covers all educational fees until the student is settled in life. In addition, the foundation provides interest-free loans to talented students preparing for competitive exams like DSC, Groups, and Bank exams.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship Application Form Identity Proof: Government-issued ID (Aadhaar card, etc.) Income Certificate: Proof of family income to assess financial need. Academic Records: Transcripts or mark sheets of previous examinations. Proof of Admission: A letter from the Government College where the student is enrolled. Photographs: Passport-sized photos of the candidate. Valid Email ID & Mobile No.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a citizen of India & permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh. This scholarship is exclusively open to both the genders. This scholarship is exclusively open to all categories. Applicants should be academically strong. The scholarship is intended for students from economically disadvantaged families. Focus on students studying at the Intermediate level or above, especially in Government Colleges. Emphasis is placed on supporting girls, but male students may also be considered.
