Summer Research Internships By IIT Gandhinagar
The Summer Research Internship Program (SRIP) 2025 at IIT Gandhinagar is designed to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with hands-on research experience in various interdisciplinary domains. The program allows students to work closely with IITGN faculty on innovative projects, gain exposure to state-of-the-art research facilities, and develop critical analytical and problem-solving skills. Participants will have the opportunity to explore research areas beyond their academic curriculum, collaborate with leading scholars, and contribute to impactful research. The program also includes the Bhalodia-Khetan Summer Research Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding research contributions with a cash prize of 50,000 in three categories: Engineering, Natural Science, and Humanities & Social Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: This is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized institutions in India. Students from all disciplines are eligible to apply. Other Requirements: Candidates must apply for research projects listed under IITGN faculty. Students can select projects outside of their primary degree specialization. Applicants must commit to a minimum of 8 weeks of research during IITGN’s summer break. Interns are required to present their research findings and submit a final report at the end of the internship. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Gandhinagar (Gujarat).
