SUHRID MLA Scholarship 2025
The SUHRID MLA Scholarship 2025-26, launched by the Transformation & Development Department of Assam, provides vital financial assistance for education and healthcare to students from underprivileged families. Each MLA is allocated a special fund to support deserving candidates within their constituency, ensuring that students can continue their studies and access essential healthcare facilities without financial hardship. This initiative plays a significant role in promoting equal educational opportunities and empowering students across Assam.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Scholarship Application Form Recent Passport-size Photograph Valid ID Proof (PAN / Voter ID / Passport / NREGA Job Card) Bank Account Details (Nationalized/Regional Rural Bank or Assam Apex Bank) Active Mobile Number Previous Year Marksheet
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam. The scholarship is open to both male and female students. Students from all categories are eligible to apply. Applicants must be studying in Class 10 or above. The applicant must be a resident of the concerned MLA’s constituency. Only one beneficiary per family per financial year can receive the scholarship. Assistance may be renewed each year for the entire duration of the course, subject to fresh application. Vocational education students from the General Category are eligible if the course is recognized by a government institution or under PMKVY. Immediate family members, relatives of MLAs, government employees, and their dependents are not eligible.
