Snehapoorvam Scholarship 2026
The Snehapoorvam Scholarship 2026 is a welfare-oriented financial assistance scheme implemented by the Kerala Social Security Mission (KSSM), Government of Kerala. This scholarship is specifically designed to support orphaned and vulnerable children who have lost one or both parents and are facing financial difficulties in continuing their education. The scheme provides monthly financial support to children from early childhood up to Undergraduate (UG) and professional education, ensuring continuity in education with dignity and social security.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Aadhaar Card Passport Size Photograph Death Certificate of Parent(s) Income Certificate BPL Card (if applicable) Ration Card Proof of Residence Bank Passbook Copy
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be orphaned children who have lost one or both parents and are permanent residents of Kerala. The student must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution located in Kerala. Children below the age of five, students studying from Class 1 to Class 12, and those pursuing degree or professional courses are eligible to apply. Students belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families are automatically eligible, while applicants from Above Poverty Line (APL) families must meet the prescribed annual income limits. Both male and female students are eligible for this scholarship.
