LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2025
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2025, initiated by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), is designed to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections of society. The scheme provides financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in Medicine, Engineering, Graduation, Integrated, Diploma, Vocational, and ITI programs. A Special Scholarship for Girl Child has also been introduced to promote the continuation of education for girls after Class 10. This initiative ensures that deserving students get equal opportunities for higher studies and future employment prospects.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Marksheet of Class X / Class XII Admission proof for the academic year 2025–26 Income Certificate issued by a competent authority Bank account details with IFSC code & cancelled cheque Aadhaar Card PAN Card Passport-size Photograph
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens. This scholarship is open to both the genders. This scholarship is open to all categories. General Scholarship (After Class 12): Candidates must have passed Class XII (Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in 2022–23, 2023–24, or 2024–25. Candidates must have taken admission in the academic year 2025–26 in the first year of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation, Integrated Courses, Diploma, Vocational Courses, or ITI programs. The annual income of parents/guardians must not exceed 4,50,000 from all sources. General Scholarship (After Class 10): Candidates must have passed Class X with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in 2022–23, 2023–24, or 2024–25. Candidates must have taken admission in the academic year 2025–26 in the first year of Vocational/Diploma/ITI courses. The annual family income must not exceed 4,50,000. Special Scholarship for Girl Child: Female candidates must have passed Class X with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in 2022–23, 2023–24, or 2024–25. Must have taken admission in the academic year 2025–26 in the first year of Intermediate (10+2), Vocational, Diploma, or ITI courses. Family income must not exceed 4,50,000 per annum. Duration: 2 years.

List of Benefits
As an students, will receive: General Scholarship: 40,000 per annum for Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS) – paid in two installments of 20,000. 30,000 per annum for Engineering (BE, BTech, BArch) – paid in two installments of 15,000. 20,000 per annum for Graduation, Integrated, Diploma, Vocational, or ITI courses – paid in two installments of 10,000. Special Scholarship for Girl Child: 15,000 per annum for two years after Class 10 – paid in two instalments of 7,500.
