Responsibilities
Cyber Security Engineer Internship: Complete and sustain Product Security Questionnaires (PSQ) to meet commercial organization needs. Build interdepartmental relationships to facilitate PSQ completion. Hold discussions with customers and sales organizations to address cybersecurity questions and review agreements. Lead DoD-ATO technical activities. Drive the product change process for security patches. Support investigations related to product security complaints. Communicate with development teams and supporting functions to develop product expertise. Manage and sustain existing cybersecurity documents. Handle software license management, tool administration, integration, and transition. Conduct software defense (hardening), intrusion prevention, patch management, and malware identification services. Oversee certificate management and coordinated vulnerability disclosure support. Manage PSIRT (periodic testing) and evaluate, mentor, and assist product teams/developers with penetration testing tools like Checkmarx, Nessus, Appspider, Burp, CA, etc. Stay updated with the latest testing and ethical hacking methods. Deploy testing methodology and collect data. Report findings to stakeholders and suggest security improvements. Enhance existing methodology material and automation processes with scripting knowledge or skills. Possess working knowledge of PowerShell and Python. Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Internship: Develop detailed test plans and ensure maximum test coverage. Understand and refine requirements through discussions with Product Owners. Develop test strategies, plans, and closure reports. Troubleshoot issues or defects, providing developers with findings and logs for quick resolution. Update status reports and maintain issue and risk trackers. Service Internship: Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain laboratory instruments and systems. Deliver basic operational training during installations. Customer Support: Provide effective product support and customer service. Maintain excellent customer relationships, particularly with directly assigned accounts. Adhere to field service policies, procedures, and standards. Preventive Maintenance: Ensure timely planning and execution of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Modifications (MODs). Technical Support: Seek timely assistance for complex product issues to minimize downtime. Report activities promptly and accurately. Spare Parts Management: Maintain recommended spare parts for the assigned product range. Extended Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships. Confidence in identifying issues and proposing solutions to stakeholders. Service Internship(RRC): Repair and Maintenance: Perform the repair process of instruments and systems at the RRC. Conduct troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, updates, and modifications. Documentation: Maintain documentation of the reconditioning process and performance test results. Keep an updated forecast sheet for RRC instruments. Follow-up and Quality Assurance: Follow up on repaired instruments sent to the field for up to 6 months. Maintain the quality of RRC processes according to quality and regulatory rules. Process Improvement: Gain knowledge on all product lines to improve RRC processes. Initiate revised RRC processes for all products. Organizational Efficiency: Perform 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain an organized working environment. Maintain RRC tools required for the repair process. Productivity: Achieve productivity targets as per the forecast. Standard Procedures: Follow standard processes and procedures. Collaborate with Field Service Engineers (FSE) as needed. Extended Requirements: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Confidently identify issues and propose solutions to relevant stakeholders. Establish and maintain customer relationships.
