The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, Government of India, is inviting applications for its Internship Program for the academic year 2024-25. Established in 1986, IWAI is tasked with the development, maintenance, and regulation of Inland Water Transport (IWT) in India, focusing specifically on the National Waterways (NWs). IWAI offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience through internships at its Headquarters in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and various Regional/Sub-Offices across India. The internship covers a wide range of fields such as Marine Engineering, Hydrography, Fairway Development, River Information Systems, Traffic and Cargo Handling, Terminal Planning and Operations, Vessel Operations, and more.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Graduate Students: Must have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th examination. Post-Graduate Students: Must have secured at least 60% in their graduation degree. Research Scholars: Must have secured at least 60% in their post-graduation. List of Benefits
As an intern, you will receive: Undergraduates: Rs. 10,000/- per month Post-Graduates/Research Scholars: Rs. 20,000/- per month The final stipend is based on attendance and satisfactory completion of the internship. Logistics: Interns must have their own laptops. IWAI will provide working space but not accommodation. Travel expenses will be reimbursed if required for work. Certificate: A certificate of successful completion will be provided upon the intern's submission of a report/paper and its positive evaluation by the designated officer.
