Dakshana Scholarship Test 2025
The Dakshana Scholarship Test (JDST & NCST) is a competitive examination designed to identify talented Class 12 Science students from underprivileged backgrounds. The scholarship provides free JEE/NEET coaching at Navodaya Centres of Excellence (COE) in partnership with Dakshana Foundation, Ex-Navodaya Foundation, and Avanti Foundation. The program aims to prepare students for top engineering and medical colleges in India. The tests are scheduled for December 15, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens. This scholarship is exclusively open to both the genders. This scholarship is exclusively open to all categories. For JDST (JNV & Govt./Aided Schools): Currently enrolled in Class 12 Science (2024–2025 academic year). Must appear for Class 12 board exams by May 2025. Class 10 Marks Cutoff (Aggregate in Maths & Science): Engineering (Male): GEN: 85%, EWS/OBC: 80%, SC: 70%, ST: 65%, PD: 55%. Engineering (Female): GEN: 80%, EWS/OBC: 75%, SC: 65%, ST: 60%, PD: 50%. Medical: GEN: 80%, EWS/OBC: 75%, SC: 65%, ST: 60%, PD: 50%. Applicants total annual family income must be below 2 lakh. For NCST (JNV & Navodaya COEs): Students are invited based on Class 10 Term 1 results, with eligibility lists released on November 5, 2024.
