The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) invites applications from eligible candidates for its Young Professional Program (YPP). SEBI is an autonomous statutory body established by the SEBI Act, 1992, with the primary responsibility of protecting investors' interests, promoting market development, and regulating the securities market. The SEBI Young Professional Program offers a unique opportunity for qualified and motivated individuals to gain in-depth exposure to the Indian capital markets and the workings of a regulatory organization. Participants will engage in various projects within SEBI, offering insights into two main domains: Securities Market Operations (SMO) Information Technology (IT)

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens, aged 30 years or below as of the publication date of the advertisement. The initial engagement is for 1 year, extendable by two additional years based on performance and organizational needs. The maximum duration is 3 years. General Skills Required: Understanding of financial markets Analytical abilities Knowledge of IT tools Research aptitude Oral and written communication skills Judgement and interpersonal skills 3.1 Domain-Specific Qualifications and Experience: Securities Market Operations (SMO): Postgraduate degree/diploma in Management with Finance specialization (60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA) OR CA/CS/CMA (55% aggregate in the final level) OR CFA (completed all three levels from CFA Institute, USA). Work Experience: Minimum 1 year in the financial sector after completing the relevant qualifications. Information Technology (IT): BE/B.Tech in Electronics/IT/Computer Science OR MCA/MSc (IT)/MBA (Systems/Analytics)/M. Tech/MS in Computer Science/IT (60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA). Work Experience: Minimum 1 year in software development or cybersecurity. Skills Required: For Software Development: Proficiency in JAVA, Angular, SAP-ABAP, Python, BPM, and databases like DB2/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL. For Cybersecurity: Expertise in global cybersecurity best practices, response to cyber-attacks, and familiarity with security products in Data, Network, and System Security. Number of Positions: Young Professional (Securities Market Operations): 17 positions Young Professional (Information Technology): 37 positions Location: All positions are based at SEBI's Head Office in Mumbai.
