The primary objective of KMDCL is to provide loan and subsidy facilities to help these individuals achieve self-reliance in education, employment, infrastructure, livelihood, and other essential areas. In line with this mission, KMDCL offers the Arivu Education Loan for the academic year 2024. This loan aims to support minority students who have secured admissions through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) via CET or NEET. Eligible courses include M.B.B.S., B.D.S., Ayush, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Engineering, and Bachelor of Technology.
The Arivu Education Loan ensures that these students can pursue their higher education without financial barriers, promoting equal opportunities and fostering a more inclusive educational environment.

  • College Fee Details
  • Previous year pass mark sheet
  • College Bank Details
  • Receipt of payment of security deposit (12% of loan amount).
  • KEA enrollment order copy
  • Caste/Minority Certificate issued by Competent Authority
  • Income certificate issued by competent authority
  • Indemnity Bond
  • Self declaration letter of the student
  • Self declaration letter of parents

    Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be Indian citizens & Permanent residents of Karnataka.
  • This education loan is exclusively open to both genders.
  • This education loan exclusively open to all castes in minorities categories are eligible to apply.

    MBBS, MD, MS Courses:
  • Maximum loan: Rs. 5,00,000/-
  • Eligibility: Students selected in Government/Private Colleges under Government Quota.

  • Maximum loan: Rs. 1,00,000/-
  • Eligibility: Students selected in Government/Private Colleges under Government Quota.
    B.Ayush, M.Ayush Courses:

    MBA, MCA, LLB Courses:
  • Maximum loan: Rs. 50,000/-
  • Eligibility: Students selected through Karnataka Examinations Authority (CET/NEET).
    B.Sc. Courses (Horticulture, Agriculture, Dairy Technology, etc.):
  • Maximum loan: Rs. 50,000/-
  • Eligibility: Students selected in Government Quota to Government/Private Colleges under Karnataka Examinations Authority (CET/NEET).
    B.Pharma, M.Pharma, D.Pharma Courses:
  • Maximum loan: Rs. 50,000/-
  • Eligibility: Students selected through Karnataka Examinations Authority (CET/NEET) in Government/Private Colleges under Government Quota.
    Additional Eligibility Criteria:
  • Annual family income from all sources should be less than Rs. 8,00,000/-.
  • The loan must be repaid within 48 months after 1 year of course completion.
  • The loan carries an interest rate of 2%.
