Founded on March 18, 1988, Fundação Oriente is a private institution recognized for its public utility. Established by Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM) upon the initiative of Stanley Ho, the Foundation is based in Lisbon and operates in regions including Macao, China, Goa, India, and East Timor. Its mission encompasses cultural, educational, artistic, scientific, social, and philanthropic actions aimed at preserving and enhancing historical and cultural relations between Portugal and the East.
The Stars of the Future Quiz Contest is in its second edition and focuses on encouraging students to utilize the Portuguese language beyond the classroom. The quiz will challenge participants' knowledge in various domains, including arts, music, current affairs, history, and science.
