The Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Competition is open to Indian citizens, allowing participants to write letters on a given theme. Circle Level: First Prize: 25,000 Second Prize: 10,000 Third Prize: 5,000 Total: 36,80,000/- (across all categories and Circles) National Level: First Prize: 50,000 Second Prize: 25,000 Third Prize: 10,000 Total: 3,40,000/- (across all categories)
Other Requirements
Procedure: Training: On-ground teams will be trained. Outreach: Campaigns in schools, colleges, and other public platforms. Collection: Letters will be collected and judged at both Circle and National levels. Implementation Strategy: Publicity: Through print, electronic, and social media. Workshops: Organized in schools and colleges. Philatelic Clubs: Efforts to establish Philatelic Clubs in participating schools. Photobooth Setup: Dhai Akhar photo booths and letterboxes installed in schools. Target Assignments: Circles will be given targets based on past performances. Timelines: Competition Start: 14th September 2024 Submission Deadline: 14th December 2024 Circle-Level Results Declaration: By 23rd January 2025 Monthly Reports: Circles will submit reports on participation by the end of each month. Final National Entries: Submitted by Circles to the Directorate by 7th February 2025. Desired Outcome: The competition aims to: Promote the art of letter writing. Foster creativity and self-expression. Increase participation in Philately-related activities.
