Logo And Tagline Contest For 50 Years Of NIC
The National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026. To mark this milestone, NIC, in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens to participate in a Logo and Tagline Contest. The contest aims to create a fresh, innovative logo and tagline that represent NIC’s journey, impact, and future aspirations. Participants must ensure that their designs comply with government norms, including the Digital Brand Identity Manual. The design should be scalable, adaptable (black & white, color variations), and simple for use across multiple platforms.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Indian citizens of all ages (Students, Professionals, and General Public)
  • Individuals and teams (only one entry per participant/team)
  • Original creators (entries must be the participant’s original work; plagiarism will lead to disqualification)

  • The logo must be submitted in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
  • It should be designed digitally and adaptable for websites, apps, social media, printed banners, etc.
  • The winning participant must submit an open and editable logo file.
  • The logo and tagline must be original; plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
  • A brief description (max 100 words) explaining the rationale behind the logo and tagline must be provided.
  • The logo should be in high resolution (minimum 300 DPI).
  • It should not be pixelated or watermarked.
  • Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
  • Prizes
  • Best Logo Winner: 1,00,000/- (One Lakh)
  • Best Tagline Winner: 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand)
  • The winning entries will play a key role in NIC’s 50-year celebrations.
