Karnataka Arya Vysya Charitable Trust Higher Education Scholarship 2024
The Karnataka Arya Vysya Charitable Trust Higher Education Scholarship for the year 2024-2025 is aimed at supporting deserving Arya Vysya students pursuing higher education in Karnataka. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students enrolled in full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses at universities, deemed institutions, or autonomous colleges within the state. It also extends to students pursuing professional courses offered by ICAI, ICWAI, and ICSI, as well as those studying at IIMs or IITs across India. Additionally, students preparing for final UPSC exams who have secured top ranks in the preliminary exams can apply, regardless of community.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Applicants ID Proof(Aadhar Card & Pan Card) Bank Passbook Previous Year Marks sheets Valid Email ID & Mobile No. Admission Proof/Fee Receipt Caste & Income Certificate Residence Certificate Address Proof Additional Documents (If applicable)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens. This scholarship is exclusively open to both the genders. Applications are invited from deserving Arya Vysya students. Pursuing the following higher education full-time courses: Graduation, Post-Graduation, and Professional Courses at any university or deemed/autonomous institution in Karnataka. Professional courses offered by ICAI, ICWAI, or ICSI. Karnataka residents pursuing courses at IIMs/IITs across India. Students studying PUC in Bangalore City. Karnataka residents who have secured top ranks in the Preliminary UPSC exams and are appearing for the Final UPSC exams, regardless of their community. General Category I (Other than Category II and III): Eligibility Criteria - For PUC / Graduation / Post-Graduation: PUC (Bangalore only): 80% in SSLC/CBSE/ICSE Undergraduates (non-Professional): 80% & above in PUC Post Graduates: 75% & above in Graduation Professional Courses (BE, MBBS, BAMS/BHMS, B Pharma): 80% & above in PUC MD / MS / MDS: 60% & above in MBBS/BDS ICAI, ICWAI, ICSI: 75% & above in Graduation Eligibility Criteria for Other than 1st Year: New/Renewal Applicants: PUC (Bangalore only): 80% in 1st PUC Undergraduates (non-Professional): 70% aggregate in the previous year BE / BTech: 70% aggregate in the previous year Post-Graduation (non-Medical): 70% aggregate in the previous year MBBS / MD / MS: 70% aggregate in the previous year ICAI, ICWAI, ICSI (Final): First attempt in the Intermediate exams Category II: Most Deserving: Students without earning parents or whose parents suffer from critical illness can apply. Minimum 60% of marks in the previous year. Category III: Differently Abled: Differently abled students can apply in this category. Minimum 50% of marks in the previous year. Eligibility Criteria - For New Applicants (Outstation): Category I: Eligibility for Professional Courses / Post-Graduation Category II: Most Deserving: Students without earning parents or whose parents suffer from critical illness can apply. Minimum 60% of marks in the previous year. Category III: Differently Abled: Differently abled students can apply in this category. Minimum 50% of marks in the previous year.
