Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: These internships are applicable to bachelors,engineering, masters & PHD in related fields. Here are the few available internships opportunities: Intern - Infosec: Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Skills: Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, compliance frameworks, and best security practices. Knowledge of data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Interest in areas such as network security, cloud security, threat hunting, and endpoint security. Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain security concepts effectively. Good organizational abilities with the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive approach in identifying challenges and proposing practical solutions. Must be available for the internship duration as specified by Seagate. Should be located in Pune, India, or willing to work remotely if applicable. Intern - Seagate Research Group: Must be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field. Technical Skills & Experience: Working knowledge of Unix-based and Windows Operating Systems. Research-level experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and innovative techniques in these domains. Exposure to storage technologies, FPGA-based systems, and computational storage is an added advantage. Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to investigate emerging technologies in data storage, AI/ML applications, and mobility. Experience in electronic hardware modeling and prototyping for data processing. Capability to analyze, document, and present research findings effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and presentations. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities to work with engineers across Seagate’s global locations. Creative, independent, and proactive mindset with problem-solving capabilities. Must be authorized to work in India while pursuing education. Intern - Firmware: Proficiency in C/C++ programming. Experience with SoC, DSP Processors, ARM Processors, RTOS, and Assembly language. Knowledge of software compilation processes. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong grasp of object-oriented analysis, design, and development. Intern - GRC & Authorization: Strong academic background with a passion for SAP security. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to a greenfield SAP project. Experience Includes: Basic knowledge of ERP and SAP security. Familiarity with SAP environments (S4HANA, BW4HANA, GTS, Solman, BPC, IBP, GRC, and HANA DB). Intern - SAP ABAP: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to clearly articulate complex problems and solutions. Comfortable working in a virtual collaboration environment with professionals from diverse backgrounds. A team player with a proactive approach to learning. Experience Includes: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular/React, C++, etc. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. Project experience in developing web applications using the above languages. Intern - AI Customer Success : Proficiency in customer support and technical support roles. Knowledge of AI concepts and applications, with the ability to explain them in simple terms. Experience in conducting training sessions, workshops, or webinars. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus. Note: These internships are exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Pune (Maharashtra).
