The Google User Experience Design Summer Internship 2026 offers students a dynamic opportunity to work with one of the world’s most innovative technology companies. Based in Singapore, this 10–12 week internship immerses students in real-world UX design challenges across Google’s Payments team, where interns contribute to creating intuitive, accessible, and meaningful user experiences for millions of users. As part of a multidisciplinary UX team—comprising designers, researchers, writers, and engineers—interns collaborate to understand user behavior, conduct research, develop UX artifacts, and participate in the full product development process. The program provides hands-on exposure to design thinking, prototyping, visual design principles, and user-centered methodologies while empowering interns to learn, experiment, and grow in a highly creative environment.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Interactive Media, or a related field. The candidate must possess experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe, or similar platforms. The applicant should have prior experience conducting user interviews, surveys, or applying user-centered design principles in academic or internship projects. The candidate must maintain a strong design portfolio demonstrating understanding of UX fundamentals. The applicant must be located in Singapore for the full internship duration (May/June 2026 to July/August 2026). The candidate must have the right to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship from Google.
