This scholarship is designed to support first-generation college students from Rio Rico High School in Arizona as they navigate the challenges of pursuing higher education. First-generation students often face unique difficulties, from lack of family guidance to limited resources, as they apply to colleges and begin their academic journey. This scholarship seeks to empower these students by providing financial support, particularly those pursuing careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
