Minority Women In LAS Scholarship 2026
Minority Women In LAS Scholarship 2026
The Minority Women in LAS Scholarship, funded by Friends of Amabel, was established to honor the inspiring journey of Amabel, an immigrant from Cameroon who built a successful life in the United States. After completing high school, she pursued her education at Bunker Hill Community College, where she actively engaged in campus life and worked toward her dream of becoming an attorney. This Scholarship aims to support African American women from immigrant backgrounds who have overcome challenges and are pursuing higher education in law, science, or the arts. The program recognizes resilience, determination, and academic commitment among minority women striving to achieve their educational and professional goals.
