The Maurice Geyen Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Maurice Geyen, a beloved husband and successful businessman who deeply valued education. Maurice believed that higher education could transform lives by expanding minds and creating opportunities, particularly for young men from underserved communities. This scholarship aims to support African American male students who have experienced the foster care system and are pursuing a degree in business. Maurice recognized that students from the foster care system often face unique challenges, and he was passionate about encouraging them to seek stability and success through education.
