The Jake Stover Memorial Scholarship honors the life and passions of Jake Stover, a beloved son who passed away in 2021 at the age of sixteen. Jake was a young man full of life, with deep interests in the outdoors, art, and entrepreneurship. He was known for his creative talents in sketching, painting, and photography, and he established his own custom sneaker and restorations business, Stovetop Customs, at the age of twelve. Jake's love for fishing led him to join the North Oldham Bass Fishing team with aspirations of continuing this passion in college. This scholarship aims to support students who share Jake's determination and passion for life, particularly in the areas of conservation/outdoors, art, or entrepreneurship/business.
