The Hershey Company has established the Hershey Scholars Program to provide financial assistance to the children of its employees, enabling them to pursue higher education. This initiative underscores Hershey’s commitment to supporting its workforce and their families. The program is administered by Scholarship America, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and education support programs.

Eligibility Criteria
Parent's Employment: Be a dependent child of a full-time active or continuous part-time employee of The Hershey Company or its subsidiaries. The parent must have a minimum of one year of continuous, uninterrupted employment as of the application deadline. Employees on approved leaves (e.g., maternity leave, leave of absence, FMLA, or disability leave) are eligible. Dependent Child Definition: Must be unmarried and under age 19, or under age 26 if enrolled full-time at an accredited institution. Eligible dependents include biological children, stepchildren, children of a domestic partner, legally adopted children, or those under legal guardianship. Academic Requirements: Be a high school/secondary school senior, graduate, or current postsecondary undergraduate. Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course at an accredited two- or four-year college or university (Brazil applicants may enroll part-time).
