The Accessible Social Work Scholarship is dedicated to supporting students with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or neurodivergence who are pursuing a career in social work. Many students with disabilities face significant barriers in education due to a lack of adequate support and accommodations, making higher education feel isolating or inaccessible. This scholarship aims to reduce financial obstacles and encourage students to pursue social work with confidence. Open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, the scholarship also welcomes applications from graduates of accredited social work programs, as funds can be used for student loan payments. To apply, candidates must share their personal experiences with disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence and explain how these experiences will shape their social work career.
