Chellez Brand Scholarship
Chellez Brand Scholarship
The Chellez Brand Arts Scholarship, founded by Demetrius Allen, aims to address the challenges faced by young people from underrepresented communities who are passionate about pursuing higher education in the arts. This scholarship is dedicated to advocating for mental health awareness and supporting the youth, particularly those who encounter systemic barriers in accessing educational opportunities. students from underserved demographics often encounter obstacles in their educational journey, including underfunded schools with limited resources for counseling and extracurricular activities. Moreover, systemic inequalities such as the racial wealth gap and disparities in parental college attainment levels create additional hurdles for these students, hindering their ability to pursue their dreams of higher education.
