The Aserina Hill Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Aserina Hill, a dedicated grandmother and family matriarch who selflessly supported others in their educational journeys despite facing her own challenges. Aserina never completed school due to financial hardships and the immediate need to join the workforce. However, she made it her mission to help others achieve their dreams by providing financial support whenever possible. Her acts of generosity were celebrated during her funeral, where numerous thank-you cards from students and family members she helped were shared by her pastor.
